Samuel J. Villanti - President and CEO
Sam joined UTC RETAIL as President and CEO in 1998 and led the management buy-out of UTC from Tridex Corporation in 2000. Sam has more than twenty years of management experience in the Point of Service industry. Sam previously held leadership positions with Axiohm IPB, Price Waterhouse Management Consulting Services and NCR Corporation. He is a member of the Young President's Organization and a member of the Board of Directors with Ontario County United Way and Flower City Habitat for Humanity.
Karen L. F. Palmer - Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Karen joined UTC RETAIL in 1997. Prior to joining UTC, Karen was the CFO of Edicon Systems Division, Eastman Technology Corp. Throughout her career she has held a variety of accounting and financial positions. Karen has more than twenty years of financial management experience.
Kevin L. Farrelly - Vice President & General Manager Hardware Solutions
Kevin joined UTC RETAIL in 2006 and has over 15 years of operations and engineering experience with leading global organizations. Prior to joining UTC RETAIL , Kevin was Director of Global Logistics Strategy for Eastman Kodak Corporation. Previous to this, Kevin served in a variety of senior manufacturing and logistics positions for Dell Computer Corporation. Kevin began his career with Intel Corporation in various engineering and research positions. Kevin was part of the Leaders for Manufacturing program in receiving his MBA from the Sloan School of Management at MIT. Kevin also holds an MS in Engineering from MIT and a BS in Engineering from Cornell University.
Randy Severo - Vice President & General Manager Software Solutions
Randy joined UTC RETAIL in 2007 as part of the acquisition of Purple Cactus Technologies where he was founder and CEO since 2001. Purple Cactus Technologies was a leader in multi-channel retail automation software solutions. Prior to founding Purple Cactus, Randy was a partner at Aurora Products, where he was responsible for R&D, implementation and support of the MINT retail management system. Randy has over 20 years experience in retail management software development and implementation.
Karen Briody-Griffin - Vice President & General Manager of Professional Services
Karen joined UTC RETAIL in 2008 and brings to our company over 20 years executive experience in retail management, operations and systems. Most recently Karen was Vice President of Operations for Extreme Products, a manufacturer and importer of fitness and sporting goods products, serving the sporting goods specialty market and mass merchants. Karen has held various senior level management positions at Herman's Sporting Goods and Sneaker Stadium.
Victoria L. Rose - Vice President of Sales
Victoria joined UTC RETAIL in 2007 with more than 20 years experience in the specialty retail and supply chain enterprise software markets. Prior to UTC RETAIL, Victoria held sales leadership positions as Director of Sales for NSB Group and VP of Sales for Essentus International (formerly Richter Systems). Victoria's experience in retail software solutions includes POS, Merchandising, Logistics, Apparel and Manufacturing.
Denise M. Mooney - Director of Human Resource
Denise joined UTC RETAIL in March 2008. Denise has her PHR and over 10+ years of Human Resource Management experience in a variety of Service and Manufacturing organizations.
