Plaid Pantry Updates Convenience Stores with UltimaTouch™ 1800 Series

May 4, 2007, Rochester, NY - Ultimate Technology Corporation, a leading provider of open system point-of-service(POS) hardware solutions and services, announced today that Plaid Pantry, a chain of convenience stores located in Oregon and Washington state, has selected the UltimaTouch 1800 Series POS Touch Workstation for deployment to their 100 convenience store locations. The UltimaTouch is a state-of-the art all-in-one touch screen workstation with a convenient hinged design that promotes easy access for upgrades and maintenance.

As part of a full solution approach Ultimate Technology performed staging services including application load, custom system settings and solution integration testing. In addition, the highly serviceable design of the 1800 Series was enhanced allowing Plaid Pantry to lower install, and ongoing service and software support costs.
