InMotion Entertainment selects UTC RETAIL for Lower TCO Solution

Rochester, March 20, 2009 – UTC RETAIL a leading provider of retail management solutions including software, hardware and professional services, announced that InMotion Entertainment has purchased the fully integrated UTC RETAIL 2850 Series POS workstations for their airport retail stores. InMotion Entertainment, with corporate offices in Jacksonville, Florida, is the largest entertainment and electronics airport retailer in the U.S. with almost 60 locations in 33 airports. UTC RETAIL’s 2850 Series is designed to provide quick access to key components for easy service and upgrades allowing the retailer to reduce costly maintenance charges.

UTC RETAIL will also provide staging and integration services to insure that the units are ready for plug and play operation when they arrive at the stores. The 2850 Series also has RAID functionality that improves product uptime and further reduces ongoing maintenance. The chain wide rollout began in the last quarter of 2008 and is planned to proceed in a staggered schedule over the next three years.
